XUR! - Buy heavy synths or you're a noob/CASUAL
If you aren't spending these hard earned strange coins on heavy ammo synths you might as well consider yourself a Christmas noob/CASUAL. You probably suck at raiding and everything if you spend your strange coins on anything else!
Edit 1: Don't be the reason why your team has to wipe! Buy HEAVY AMMO SYNTHS!
Edit 2: I'm honestly not trolling unless you say something stupid. If you think buying heavy ammo synths is a bad idea, i don't know what game you're playing. I don't know if you raid, I don't know if you ever have slackers on your team. I know how to play the game and I know how to be a valued teammate. Buying heavy ammo synths with glimmer is counter productive. Who wants to spend hours farming glimmer? Not me and if you have most exotics already you wouldn't spend strange coins on them again. Get good, don't settle for less.
Edit 3: You don't think heavy synths are useful lol? Lol funny. 25k glimmer gets you 26. 9 strange coins get your 45. You do the math.
Edit 4: those who think buying heavy ammo synths is pointless, you are also now considered a casual. I have a shit ton of hours and I'm ok with that, with that being said I have just about all the exotics soooo I don't need to buy the ones XUR sells. I'm not a casual so I don't need to save coins to but exotics?
Edit 5: If you still spending all your coins on exotics your a casual noob bro. If you've been playing long enough you have all the exotics you need.

Must be a noob, I didn't buy any. I already have 150 heavy synths and more than 200 coins, what I need is more vault space.

Only reason to buy is that glitch that causes you to lose when you die or no drops. Pay attention to ground before you pop synth bc that 8 min doesn't reset if you die or wipe.

Specifically you should never go under 56 - 9x (where x is the number of characters you have that can do the weekly on level 30). The reason for this is you should plan to be able to purchase all 4 exotics the next week and also you should be maintaining a full stack of each Synth. Also glimmer is more plentiful and should be used first if possible.

If you're even half experienced as you say you are, you know how much people from day one are still struggling to get the Mytho, Ghorn, or Ice Breaker either because of RNG, or because at the time they didn't think that an exotic heavy would be useful, or that its really not worth the hype so shut the -blam!- up because some of us get nothing but shards or Nlb 24/7 from the nightfall and raid...

Yep I'm a casual. This game is too repetitive for me to play more. If you play a lot you are either a Christmas Noob or you have short term memory issues. "Awe this mission rock!" Plays same mission 5 minutes later.. "Woah what a cool mission! I wonder if any story will be revealed."

Me I still have my eye on a few things and Rngesus is a "blam" for me and go the glimmer way for ammo synth and save the coin for the other. I agree to go raiding and not have extra ammo synth is NOT the way to go. Does this make me a Noob .. no. Casual vs Hardcore, not buying into that chestnut.

Completed nightfalls with using 1-2 heavy ammo synths max and the same for my teammates. Maxed elemental weapons, abilities, crit hits, strategy and old fashioned teamwork. Of course, this depends on your team.Your post gives me the impression you have personal issues and you're using video games as an outlet to vent your insercurities.
