    Apparently the court found she didn't. I don't know if she has some mental impairment or not but she was found as not possessing the maturity to decide for herself.

    Then I will trust the ruling of whatever medical professional made the decision. On a related note, medical ethics are stiff like this because she could later sue them over complications from chemo, saying she wasn't competent enough to agree to treatment.
