Hey buddy,
Really appreciate you trying to help us in need! I can't seem to Remote play at work.
The following error pops up when I try;
- Could not connect to the PS4 system. The connection speed of this system might be too slow.
In Settings<System<Error History the follow;
- Error Code: C2-15941-0
- Application: NPXS10013 (00-000-000)
My Setup;
PS4 is connected via Ethernet, connection speeds roughly ±2 of 30 mbps up/down (not at home to do the tests so that number is a guess lol).
Vita is tethered via mobile, has an average of 7mbps up and 3mbps down.
The work WIFI is worse 6mbps up and 0.5mbps down.
Works at home (PS4 Ethernet connected and Vita on WIFI or tethered).
I followed this guy instruction on the provided link above to narrow down the band of addresses on my router, reduce the random internet noise when powering up the PS4 and to open a few ports for Remote Play so it will work away from home but it still isn't working!

glad to help. getting a ps vita to work with remote play outside your house can be crazy tricky. took me a few months of trial and error. lets start with a few basic things. possibly the easiest way to get it working would be to set up your PS4 as the DMZ so that no firewalls will be blocking you but remember to unpair your vita b4 setting it to DMZ then re-pair it after you set it. between that and having the remote play ports from that article open theres a good chance that will work. if not you can try opening 9295-9304 (TCP & UDP). you will probably have to remove the 9296-9297 port fowards for this. you can also try opening port 9325(TCP). try them all with and without DMZ. also my wifi at work is real bad too but i found something that helps alot. i dont got my laptop with me but theres programs you can download on a laptop or work computer if they wont care(or you can hide it) if you have 1 that will take a wifi signal and rebroadcast it. if the wifi is weak because your not near the wifi signal this will help alot.(i work in a hotel and it made a huge difference) i believe its called myrouter. the best way to trouble shoot this is to set up a pc at work or your laptop to be able to access your router online that way you can try stuff from work and change setting on your router at the same time. if none of that helps let me know and ill see what else i can find for you.

thank you so much for trying to help me again. is it me or do you think it shouldn't be this hard to remote play lol!? so i got some questions and excuse my ignorance because I'm not the most techy guy for this type of stuff. you said to unpair my ps vita and re-pair it. am i just forgetting the network on the vita and then reconnecting? or am i meant to unpair it from the ps4, just because i couldn't find how to unpair it from the ps4. i also had a fair hack at doing the DMZ/portwarding but to be honest i have no idea what I'm doing. i understand if you feel i am a lost course (because that's how i'm feeling haha) you can leave me be lol. I'm going to attach a link hopfully of a screen shot of the settings i did up on my router. can you see if i made any mistakes? I'm posting the link in the main post for the optimization stuff.

It's just how it is sometimes. Yea just unpair the vita and ps4. I'm not in front of my router but I think you need to put your ip for your ps4 as your DMZ address. It helps to have a static ip. Here's a link to how to do that. http://portforward.com/networking/static-ip-ps4/ . Once you got the static ip set your ps4 to DMZ re pair the vita and give that a shot. Also I'm going to post a link to how to optimize your router for gaming. It's kinda long but it's amazing.

ok so I got the remote play working with the vita being paired up with my 4g mobile tether and ps4 paired with the router but when I went to a remote location (work) and tested it just dropped out. I went home to see if it was still worked. NOTHING! I've given it a few days rest but I'm going to try it out again tonight. I'm getting so frustrated, only thing keeping me going is a work mate said it wasn't possible and I want to prove him wrong hahaha. I noticed that my IP range setting on the router got change from 2-10 to 2-26. I know I didn't touch those settings, which was really freaking weird haha

So you got it to work at work for a Minuit then it cut out?
-
nope didn't even get it to work for a minute, it paired with my mobile at home. went to work to test it, it would turn on the ps4 but then drop out when it goes to open the psn home screen. my friend at work who has a z3 hasn't been able to get his to connect too and his a I.T. guru. wtf

Edited by PSNkenny: 1/15/2015 8:32:09 AMIt sounds like you didn't have a strong enough connection with your mobile network. Next time you go to work try leaving your PS4 on then connect from work. Iv had to do that a few times. Your getting close. I had that happening to me just b4 I got it working.
