The entire concept is that an M2 and Mk19 are far more difficult to rack than a shoulder fire hunting rifle. Do not question my knowledge of firearms here, that is so far removed from the point. (Also, they need to be charged every time they're loaded or cleared, which is more often than they're fired, believe you me.)
