The armor piece says it gives you an additional FUSION grenade yet I only have two, P.S. yes I am using fusion grenades.
It should give you a third fusion grenade because its clearly worded "extra" and you should be able to combo that with your extra grenade ability

You can still light people on fire in PvP if you don't manage to get the stick or to other players that are close. I bought the piece hoping for 3 grenades too, but I'm not too surprised it doesn't stack like everything else.
-
Right! Looks like my hopes for that piece fell short
-
It should? Says you. A community member. It only SHOULD do that if the developer ever intended it to. And they didn't. They intended for us to have a max of 2 grenades. Some people just don't understand that Bungie make the rules, and they control them. If they decide that the subclass and gear perks should stack, then they will change that, but that is not up to you.
-
Simply going off what my gear and abilities state. So yes it should but like you said I'm just gonna have to deal with it as a "community member" or get a lot of people to agree with me so they can change that like they did the mytho
-
Armor and class abilities do not stack.
-
What I'm saying is that it should because thats the only reason to get that chest piece is to have 3 fusions
-
No it's not. The reason is to be able to have two perks the final skill column at the same time.
-
If you like using fusions that's cool, I guess I only bought it in the hopes of having 3 grenades to throw😌
-
Two fusions with touch of flame is sweet
-
But for Pvp its pointless and the armor stated "extra" so it should give me a extra along with a extra grenade from my ability
-
It does give you extra. You start with one grenade. With the perk you get two fusion grenades. That is one extra fusion grenade from which you started from.

What my hopes where as well as the hopes of many others where for that chest piece to allow you to have three grenades but looks like my hopes fell short
