I see weapons that are over 300 Attack?
I just came back yesterday and everyone has weapons with over 300 attack ( which I see is 331 ). I saw an ice breaker with 331 but mine is still 300. Is there something I need to buy from Xur to get my weapon to 331? Do I need to find the weapon again? ( which really means get lucky ) Does this mean all my exotics are obsolete now?

Upgrade time - Xur offers X amount of upgrades each week - if he has your 2.0 weapon, prepare to spend 7k-8k glimmer, your old weapon, and an exotic shard. You also get to enjoy maxing it out all over again.

3 RepliesHahaha. I understand why one would be confused if they hadn't played in a while. I would be too. You need an upgrade from Xur or you need to obtain the weapon again. Also, exotic shards are needed for the last upgrade in exotic weapons an armor.

In order to step up another level, you must either randomly obtain the weapon again, or buy the upgrade from Xur when he is available.

Edited by Blackair142: 1/5/2015 9:00:08 PMWith the DLC came Tower vendors that now sell weapons with a max of 331 damage, legendary armor that raises your light level to 31, and you can now upgrade your Exotics, both Weapons and Armor pieces, to have 331 attack damage or 36 light through Xúr with a bit of Glimmer and an Exotic Shard, which is purchasable from Xúr with 7 strange coins or given when dismantling exotic items. Also, if you don't own the DLC, you'll find that you're locked out of a couple Dailies, Heroics, and Nightfalls from time to time... Welcome back Guardian.

2 RepliesAfter the dark below expansion came out vanguard. Crucible and the other factions sell purples that high in damage now and exotics are upgraded also but you can still get both versions. And yes you can upgrade your exotics at xur he offers upgrades for certain ones every week
