Justify cheesing crota.
If you cheese crota, here are my assumptions of you.
1. It's too hard for you.
2. You're lazy.
3. You have never learned to do it the right way.
4. You think there's no problem with it.
5. You think it's cool.
6. You think it's bungie's fault.
7. You did it once and think bungie owes you a level 32 character.
8. "I don't have time" when you've played 700+ hours.
When the hard raid comes out and you're walking around clueless, I will laugh in your face and boot anyone who asks how to kill crota legit.
Edit: seems like everyone claims they can't find 5 other people. Not a valid reason. My friend did it solo and I did it with only one other person in 3 minutes. So try something else.
Edit 2: So, it comes down to this. People either agree with me or they hate me because they can't do it legit. I love these people! Haha.

ive done it legitamatly several times with two swords and good timing. but that warm creamy nacho flavor. its satisfying. and my drops fluctuate between weapons and shards. first week got two weapons, another got shards. i think i missed a week, and then i got 2 other weapons, this week i got shards.

do it the legit way on 2 characters with my team and sometimes cheese on 3rd depending on fire team.

It is extremely difficult to find 5 non jackasses... This is why I've yet to complete the raid. They always give up and resort to cheesing, and I leave. I hope the banhammer cleanses Destiny of all the scrubs.

2 RepliesPretty sure it's been hot fixed a buddy of mine tried it and after they got the sword and started hitting crota he stood up immediately after he was down the whole time and waiting for the person to come back.

I prefer to run legit whenever possible, even stating that in my LFG posts. That being said I'm not waiting around staring at my computer for an hour waiting for more people who think the same. Also I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of the mechanics of the fight and with that in mind I know when a group simply doesn't have what it takes to beat the encounter. In these situations I'll stay with them and finish it with cheese. Hard to find good groups for Crota CP legit as most people will just do it from the fresh run. I've also purposely cheesed when trying to run low levels through the encounter.

Lazy and can never find good people to do it with so I do it with my fiancé and my sister and her boyfriend. Saves time and I dont have to teach idiots what to do. When its patched I wont have a problem doing it legit witg a couple good people
