Thanks for voting guys! I've always felt like I should be seeing shards occasionally after Crucible wins. Although a few are reporting that they see them, it seems exceedingly rare. Bungie should make the chances of getting shards after a win a bit higher. I have very few chances to get them. Even Public Events rewards from the postmaster usually turn into Strange Coins or Motes.

I've not seen a single one drop and I've played over 1500 matches. You can get them easily from Vault of Glass.

I wouldn't say easily. You need at least 3 people just to make it through the first part. The VoG is rarely an option for me.

If you're good enough, and level 32, you can probably solo the first part.

Becoming level 32 requires beating Crota a shit ton of times. And I don't think the first part can be solo'd no matter what level you are. The 3 rings are too far apart and there are different land objects in the way to prevent sniping every last enemy.

What if a passerby helps, does it still count as soloing? It can happen. :D
