Wtf, 4 hours! I got that for a friend as they had Horizon 2 anyway. That's silly is there checkpoints? I know it's always online.

  • There would have to be checkpoints, but considering its a race with AI and a race...its not that kind of checkpoint. I haven't attempted it yet but it very well could save progress. My internet on my Xbox is barely good enough to hold connection for over an hour let alone 4. Although that's if my internet is being buggy, which it usually is *cough cough*cheap bastards at rogers*coughcough* I mean, it's a fun game, the person you bought it for is gonna like it. I personally love racing games so you KNOW I went from east to west the second I could free roam. Though that was out of pure excitement to be able to explore all of the US, no barriers holding back (except from water and certain fenced in facilities...and such. But STILL.) I mean i like it, but not enough to drive a car for that long. Id do a race that's over an hour but not above 2. There are plenty of those. There are some races under 10 minutes, those pay under 10000$ Some races are between 10 and 60 minutes, those give over 10000$ A lot of races are over an hour, those mostly payout over 50000$ Then again those are faction missions, the longest story mission I've played is like, 15-20 minutes. Depending on speed.

  • Nice one, they like racing at least there are some shorter races too. That's rough about your internet, that's my main concern with always online games. Why you cannot just play the story missions offline and go into an online lobby when you want to get involved with the online community. They could save all your offline times and upload them next you log on. Oh well, wishful thinking hey =}

  • Lol. The worst is that my internet is intentionally being a troll. Im not kidding. My room is above the modem, yet my computer disconnects frequently, my iPhone constantly loses connection (I was watching youtube on wifi when it switched to cellular data for no reason, causing me to go over the limit) and it generally acts terrible. Then rogers is like "you can buy a stronger modem for even more money or buy a separate modem for upstairs for additional cost" and they "updated" it and it still acts Like shit. And when we were with bell you know what happened? The Internet sucked. They only needed one visit to replace the modem with a newer one free of charge and BOOM better wifi. In one shot. The stupid thing is that I get shit connection in my room, yet I went to the basement and held a solid 1 bar and walked down the street and held a 2 bar until I was 4 houses down. But if I download something it takes 20 years. GG wifi. GG

  • That's ridiculous is there anyway they move your modem by your computer so you can hard wire it? I guess if it's copper cables the further away from the source the weaker the connection. Fibre optic is better but it doesn't matter what you use when it's "peak time" which just happens to be the times I am usually not at work, Arrghh =}

  • Well, there are no spots where I CAN use a wired connection in my room and to set a system like that up would cost money and time which, let's be honest, there's no time to set up a system of cables so ONE computer can Get good wifi.

    That's annoying, you can get adapters in the UK where you run a wired connection via a adapter you plug into the electric socket, you plug another adapter into the electric socket in your room. With some you can hard wire it from that plug or there is a booster for your wifi signal. It uses your electric supply to carry the signal. I have heard this can be better and a cheaper option. Just to warn your enteric wiring depending on age could affect the signal detrimentally. http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/networking/networking/powerline-home-networking/devolo-dlan-500-av-500-mbps-wireless-powerline-adapter-kit-20333763-pdt.html#longDesc This isn't the cheapest but just to give you an idea.
