COMET is Destiny 2... Look at it, it is a game cover the others are the expansion to D2, which is opposite of what activision said it wanted, but hey 2 instead of 1 is good.

It's not. The contract states that each Destiny game will receive a larger "Comet" expansion a year after release, followed by a full sequel the following year. Chances are the reason a full on packaging design is there, is that there will be Destiny reissue next year that includes the Comet expansion, so anyone who wants to jump in in later this year won't be put off by the amount of content they would need to buy on top of the base game.

Yes I got that from Tobi, below. I miss read the contract originally.... I read it as they can issue a Comet or DLC.

No, comet is the full on expansion, comet is and always has been listed as expansion, between games. Take a look at the leaked contract from 2013 http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Bungie-Activision_Contract under "products"
