I'm having the same difficulty and just bought the game. I played up to level 5, turned the game off, came back and now it's stuck in infinite WASP loop. Done all the troubleshooting steps as well. Seriously, if this is all I'm going to get then I want a refund so I can try out the HALO package to see if it is equally fail.

Yes, I think people who have experienced this problem should get some sort of incentive as well. Not only have we not been able to play the game at all because it is only online, but we also are missing out on gameplay opportunities this week.
