I'm not sure you understood me. You're saying that as atheists do nice things just to do nice things they wouldn't go to hell. But just voicing that point then brings the idea into every atheists head who reads the post, they then realise that even if they're wrong about heaven and hell they may well not go to hell because they do nice things anyway. Then there is always that part of them wanting to do good things because of this realisation as well as because they're good things.
