Back to the lootcave!
So we got some funny stuff for halloween and we'll get something small again next week. So for the next time how about for a special event opening up the orginal loot cave! We will have 24 hours to shoot into the dark hole and shoot for some engrams! For us it will be for old time memories and a small thank you from the guys at bungie. If anyone would like this to happen like/comment to keep it alive! Thanks for any likes or comments!

I talked to a friend about this actually how it would be cool if we had an event that opening the old loot cave where we could loot for a day.

1 ReplyAhh the loot cave, remember the purple shimmer, running in......just heavy weapon & then every so often that purple shimmer was a legendary engram.......back to The Tower & Master Rahool would decrypt into a blue weapon or level 16 bit of armour......what a dick

I gotta say, I never encountered another player messing with us by standing in the cave till we left. It used to be sorta fun. The unspoken respect of everybody waiting a while before running in, the teamwork when horde waves or public events would trigger. All in all, I had a good time at the ol' loot cave on xbox one. I'd love to see the spawns reset to the old days for a day or two lol.

You'll get a lot of greens and a dickhead who stands in front of the cave to ruin everything I suggest putting a new system for every 150 dismantle of the same type you get a guarantee of a legendary engram of the same type and shards should not appear when dismantling those legendary. . If we want shards we know how to dismantle to get some BUNGIE or raise the stake higher and for every 800 dismantle a guarantee exotic engram of the same type that has been dismantled anyway if you want an idea near yours I'll say make an public event or something when the pour out of the cave .

Have a timer set so just about every 10 to 15 minutes the cave spawns tons of adds (kinda like [i]The enemy are moving against each other[/i]), majors, ultras and even a unique Hive Mini-Boss (called Lord of the Pit, or something). Extra bonus cookies if they could have them look like some undead/ghost version of the original adds!!! Have them drop less engrams, more Black Wax Idols and Silken Codexes. The Mini-Boss could potentially drop Husks of the Pit, One Radiant Material, Embalming Orbs or... a legendary engram! I'd grind that 24 hour marathon to death!

3 RepliesI remember levelling my hunter to 20 at that spot in 2 days. I never killed anything there. I just got him to level 3, took him there because there was ALWAYS 4 or 5 people there! Sit behind them and do somthing else ! Every few minutes press a button. Gain stupid free xp. At the end Look in the cave after too see the floor covered fifty times over with grey items XD
