In Bungies defense You got the game in the WORST TIME. With all the Hacks they have had to fix a lot of crap. Give it longer. You'll have less error codes. This isn't all their fault.

  • 70% hackers problem. You REALLY need to learn that what they do is a hard damn job. Fixing what the hackers did is not instant.

  • Oh please. 500,000,000 budget and you can't fix connection issues? Like some1 else said, there's other games out there that don't seem to have a problem playing online. And I'm sure their budget is no where NEAR bungies. So stop defending these incompetent game makers. It's their JOB.

  • They weren't hacked. You're giving those kids too much credit. Facts are facts. The servers have been an issue since day 1 and since day 1 they've been trying to spin that things could be on our end. It's a joke and you've fell for it.

  • You are always going to get problems with online games. Just because of the fact it's the internet. Don't be so naive to think that this is meant to be perfect. No online games will be perfect. We will always have errors and error codes. The hacking made it worse. It brought done PSN and XBL, which in turn messed up the Destiny servers. It's all connected, if one fails, they all fail. Just because Bungie itself wasn't hacked does not mean that the issues did not connect to them through the networks. There are elements of it that they cant even control because sometimes it is on our side, but it's impossible to know. Maintaining an online game is a horrendous task, and managing all the people who play the servers is not easy. GIVE Bungie some credit for doing their best instead of being a crying brat at how nothing is going how you exactly want it to go. It's a joke that you completely blame bungie because you believe this game should be flawless. This is their job, of course they are trying to fix things, that's what they are paid to do. It will never be flawless, learn to deal with it, stop complaining.

  • I have played consistently since day one and since the hack/attack on XBL and PSN Christmas Day the problems have increased ten-fold both with destiny and xbox services. The fact is the hackers figuratively threw a boulder into the XBL/PSN pond and the waves haven't settled fully, thus issues with friends list not displaying in destiny and having your appearance turned offline with no ability to change it.

  • "You are always going to get problems with online games. Just because of the fact it's the internet." Hmmmm.... Seems like DoDA, WoW, GUildWars2, World of Tanks, Street Fighter, All of my COD titles, Injustice, Tekken, Forza series titles, basicly every ga,e on 360, and PC i own all work with ZERO issues...... MUST be a Destiny/Bungie issue.

  • When you can read countless posts of people having the exact, I mean the absolute exact, same issues. It's pretty clear things are on their end. I never said things should be perfect. Just own up and admit it's on their end. Instead they keep feeding us steps to check on our end. And when you're a game with no offline content, then you need to have your house in order when you put a game like this out. I also have issue with them being cheap and not having people working during the holidays on these issues. It tells me they don't really care at all about us. Instead they want us to simply "deal with it" and they'll get back to work in the new year. It's a game, not the end of the world, but I'm not naive enough to buy into some of the b.s. they feed players of Destiny.

  • @Kopaka4901 I completely agree. @MrYeahSports7 I never said that there are not problems on there end also. It has increased since the hacks on a large scale. But the errors have always been there, Like I said, you will ALWAYS get that on a completely online game. Don't mistake me for someone else, I get errors. During the hacks I couldn't play at all. Now I get maybe 1-2 error codes a day, but I've always had that and it does not bother me. But I don't blame them like everyone else here. I don't cry, or moan, or complain about it, because they are doing what they can. I completely believe that, and I know how difficult it is to work with piles and piles of script which is what they have to deal with. They ask you to check your side because it can be a reason, You said that "I have an issue with them being cheap and not having people working during the holidays on these issues".. have you lost your mind or is Destiny your life? They have lives too, and families and cannot spend every waking hour which is also THEIR holiday too just like ours working on something that someone else did. They deserve time off like anyone else, and it is really horrific how so many people have decided in their mind that they should forget their christmas, forget their new year, forget their families and work on Destiny and that's it. And this makes them cheap? cheap because they wanted to give their employees time off? And what If a lot of them are working on this but it is so huge and complicated that it is just taking them a long time to fix? Why are you all so completely greedy and selfish? I know we've all paid for this game but seriously lay off them. They are fixing the issues. Unless you work on scripts and text and designs, and artistry, and computing, and imagery, you have no idea how much time and effort goes into making and keeping this game alive. Stop complaining about this, it's like a bunch of children who don't know how the world works, but it's also a bunch of adults who don't understand how a job works.

  • I'm actually at work and have been here all night. I worked Christmas Eve and Day. The catch? I get paid more for doing so. If your power goes out, the power company comes and fixes it. If you sell an online game and people can't access what you sold them, you owe them services. If I ran Bungie/Activision/Microsoft and things crumbled like they did, I'd have my best working on it that same day. That's good business. Just stop with the holy stuff already. Acting like you didn't go to a convenient store during the holidays and deal with people working there. The world don't stop just because of holidays.
