I have mixed feelings on this subject. Currently im on PS3. And have quite a few friends. But when I do upgrade to PS4 well there gos all my characters. gear. levels. friends. e.t.c.

You keep your characters/gear/weapons/progress between different gens of the same console, provided you use the same PSN id/xbox gamertag

Does this mean I can have an Xbox Live account, link it to my profile and then start Destiny on an Xbox with my three characters? Or will it just add the profiles for that console onto my account, giving me a possible 6 profiles per account. That would be weird (O_o)

I mean im upgrading in a few months anywsy. But it would be pretty shitty if I lost essentially everything ive worked for. But if I keep all my shit then hell yeah.

Yes, my brother has a 360 but sometimes uses his father-in-law's xbone. Just signs in with his GT and continues from where he left off. Your progress is stored against your username on your network of choice. This also works for PS3/ps4. But not cross platform.

Yeah I just upgraded to the Xbox one and everything transfers including tdb
