Completely disagree! Destiny should have been next gen only and aimed it sights higher. Why cater for old tech? It's just holding the game back.

True, but the change from ps3 to 4 and 360 to X1 seems to be taking longer than usual.

The economy is getting worse, but by later next year most people, including myself, will be on Next-Gen

The economy is shit, and I don't think we'll ever be in great shape again. I was lucky enough to be able to upgrade a few months ago. I don't have a problem with all the games being for last and next gen, and it wouldn't surprise me if they kept producing last gen games for a while longer.
