The fossil record is evidence as long as you give examples of it. Just blindly saying the fossil record is evidence without giving specific examples isn't the best idea. Some examples of human evolution I have are as follows: 1. Prehistoric human remains ( neanderthalls ) found in caves with similar albeit different features such as different shape of bones or extremely large or small in height. 2. Humanity evolving intelectually to speak or draw pictures on walls. 3. The flight or fight responce was something we developed over time for when we're in danger. 4. We developed the ability top walk on two feet. These are just the ones from the top of my head; Evolution happened and there are mountains of evidence for it.

  • Neanderthalls grew separate from regular man. And archeologists find no connection between ape and man.

  • They lived from 2.5 million years ago to about 30 000 years ago; over time, Homosapians came into the picture who were smarter then the Neanderthalls. Yes they lived seprately, but they most likely evolved from Neanderthalls.

  • I have seen no evidence that proves we were first Neanderthal

  • Really? How so? Is there evidence that we wern't? If so, show me or prepare for your statement to be rendered redundunt.

  • We evolved seprately but we share 1% of their genetic code.

We share 95-98.6% of DNA with chimpanzees, which are apes. We also exist in the same family as apes in biological categorization because of this. Also, a scientific study on this: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC153612/ And even a creationist article affirming the above information: https://answersingenesis.org/genetics/dna-similarities/greater-than-98-chimphuman-dna-similarity-not-any-more/

  • I'm not denying evolution, but you said it yourself my point, just saying "the fossil record" is not an adequate basis for proof.

  • True; just blindly refrencing the fossil record doesn't really tell anyone anything. It does though when one begins to explain it further in detail as I have above.
