The Nintendo Entertainment System...and the first Metroid. I loved that game. There was something amazing about finding a new enhancement. I loved it even more when I got the full map in the second volume of Nintendo Power. What a score!!! Great cover, too,..Simon Belmont holding Dracula's severed head...(the magazine).

Me too. I couldn't wait for that thing to show up in the mail. I went online after posting and looked up old covers. That was such a great time to be a kid.

My favorite was the artwork for the first Final Fantasy. That creature coming out of the sand with his hand held out palm up and the sand falling through it was pretty cool
