My prices that I see are the Prime prices so I don't know how much they cost non-prime users.

Haha I've always used an A-5 I've been wanting something new but I can't let go of my A-5 it's perfect.
-
I would go to an X-7 but I don't see the need, really.
-
Yeah that's what I've been thinking but since I've been out of the game for a while I have no idea if that's worth it or not.

Edited by Jim the Admin: 12/28/2014 12:57:20 AMI suppose Variable firing options and the E-grip. But I don't need the upgrades unless they would greatly boost my ability to perform and my response trigger already gives me all three firing options if I finaggle it.
-
How is the response trigger? Worth the money or nah?
-
I got my A5 from a friend for $125 so I think it was worth every penny. You can get an adapter for like $60 and I mean, if you really want to fire faster than a regular trigger pull I could see buying it. I have had no issues with it mechanically and I love it.

I still don't see why people use a-5s like that. The only reason I see for getting a tippmann is to make it look really cool, like the pic above. I'm looking for performance, not "OMG my fake gun looks so cool!"
-
Have you ever used any Tippman products? There is a reason 98s are one of the most widely used loaner guns on fields. They make reliable markers and equipment. Slapped a straight line and response trigger on my A5 and now I never need another marker for woodsball.

Edited by A Forum Cop: 12/28/2014 2:02:15 AMPhenom, A-5, 98, all the US army markers(I know they're just dressed up tippmans), and a BT-4, I have used tippmans yes, but they are really only good for woodsball. I also like top play x-ball/airball/speedball, so tippmanns aren't an option for me, and mechanically, they are more bulky and harsher on paint than speedball markers. They are reliable. but I am willing to actually maintain my marker, so that is less of an issue with me.
Phenom, A-5, 98, all the US army markers(I know they're just dressed up tippmans), and a BT-4, I have used tippmans yes, but they are really only good for woodsball.
Well, I suppose for me Tippman is my way to go because I don't play Speedsball.
They are reliable. but I am willing to actually maintain my marker, so that is less of an issue with me.
I do too. I do all my own work, which is why I love their low maintenance and virtual simplicity. My job is easier. Your logic and tone kind of offended me but I'm assuming you didn't mean it hostilely. I play only woodsball so I can't help you any further.

Yeah, I see how I might have come across as rude, but I see your point.
