ITT: Post if you've only beat Crota the legit way.
Cheesers need not respond. Let us real pros gather and bask in our vast superiority over the rest of these plebs.
Beat Crota on the first week, last day before reset, after about two or three hours of attempts. The feeling I got wasn't as ecstatic as when I first downed normal Atheon, but it still felt good. Sadly, this raid feels a lot easier to me than the Vault of Glass did. Hopefully the next raid will outdo VoG.

I would beat him legit, but I don't have a regular raid team and every random group that I join either wants to cheese the whole Damn raid, or gives up after a few wipes and we end up cheesing something. Short version: bungie why don't you playtest before you try and sell crap!

Took 6 hrs the first time. Now we usually get it first or second run. I play with the same group almost every time

My 5 friends and I have cleared the whole raid 9 times now without cheeses or exploits, just skill.

I've done it both ways... The thrill of jumping in his face with a sword just having a few seconds before he gets up and tries kills you is amazing and dealing the final blow even better... It takes teamwork and knowing how that part works.... It's easy once your team knows how.

Beat it a couple of times, but never got to use the sword myself had some really great pl using it. The raid is simple if everyone knows their role.

Legit 9 times. Took 7 hours the first time now I do it in 32 minutes. Go ahead tell me you're so impressed. It doesn't depend on teammates at all because I'm so pro I did it with a full team of 29's. True story bro.

i think iv beat him 4 or 5 times now legit , if you stay on the left side and shoot boomers and watch the stairs its pretty simple.

4 Replies3x a week. was only hard 1st night when we had 0 lvl 31s, finished it as soon as we had a 31 in the group ( hadn't seen anybody with raid gear until after cheese)
