Patriarchy just means males are in charge and generally hold important roles in the family/society.
Id say soldiers are a pretty important role. But thats just me.

No, patriarchy just means males are in charge. It has nothing to do with oppressing women (directly?). It just puts men first. On a side note, when did the world become a patriarchy? Where was I?

You could have had a decent argument if you didnt screw up the meaning of patriarch. And an even better argument if you hadnt... You know... Taken essentially the same side as the feminists... (You both think the military thing is unfair or wrong or whatever you were going for there).

I was simplying using the feminist definition of a patriarchy. I thought that was obvious when I said feminists were the target audience
