It just confuses me how a no-skill move like shoulder charge is a oneshot, while throwing knives with precision hits only take down shields.

Here's why. Throwing knife happens basically instantly. Sure it has travel time but if you're in a gun fight and need to reload you can instead just end someone. No one else has a ranged move with the speed(weapon switching) and damage of the throwing knife. Shoulder charge is awful in comparison. Try using shoulder charge against experienced PvP players. You will fail, a lot. I can't even remember the last time I saw a titan use it except to move around quicker.

It's easy to throw a knife from distance with no punishment for missing. Trying to rush into people faces to sc them usually land u dead I personally don't even use it it's that bad
-
Ill agree a throwing knife should be an insta kill, no doubt there, but shoulder charge if used incorrectly will get you one kill and slaughtered by everyone else in your area, so it does take skill
-
True dat.

Have you tried just running around and Shoulder Charging? I don't think you can call it a no-skill move until you come back and prove it's effectiveness without attempting to time, judge range, and aim. It isn't a spam and win button, but it can be very effective. The problem is that it only works once or twice before people start to adapt. So you may get 2 easy kills, but I can do that with a grenade too.

I have, I got around level 24 with a titan, decided that I really didn't enjoy it and made another lock. Reiterating what you said, it really required more timing than anything else in my probably biased opinion.

And one I can't throw my charge at you and two I have to get close to you hint hint shotgun
-
Not everyone uses shotguns man. Can't always be the answer to everything sadly.
-
Well that's like saying your getting destroyed by a sniper and you keep dying. the answer? Get your sniper or get closer. Your dieing by a fusion rifle get farther away or use one.

Shoulder charge requires some skill
