turning off your internet connection then rebooting it is definitely an exploit, but it's not a criminal offense.
my analogy wasn't very good either. would be better to say, if you knew that turning off the lights would cut the power to a room that powered the gate to your cell, and that light switch was right beside you.... would you really be to blame if the instrument of your escape (success) was right there for you? i mean, they're the ones who put the light switch there. they have it set up so that if you flip that switch, you're home free. *shrugs*
