I've never cheesed Crota. Never finished the new raid period, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that whether you cheesed him or beat him legit, if you are lvl 32 and have all the loot, you would be in the same boat until the next expansion comes out still, wouldn't you?

Nah. If you cheese will achieve end game way faster and whatever is left to do they will have done by the time legit raiders have got to the end game. Hypothetically.

But you are acting like it takes months to beat Crota legit lol. You can do the whole raid legit in an hour so how much time are you cheating yourself? 10mins? It makes no difference. I'm not advocating cheesing Crota, I'm just saying that if the argument is that you will run out of content faster, then it's a very thin argument, cause you only cut off maybe 10mins from a raid by cheesing him.

Okay. I'm talking about instant gratification. the pay off for this reward is a small amount of items that help you in the raid and other parts of the game. But if your skipping the raid and your only getting rewards that help you in the raid...it makes little sense to play. The only thing you get is a jump on the next dlc which if you keep up with the trend, you will only be cheesing the next Raid for loot that will only help in that raid but you will have a jump on the next dlc content.

I get what you are saying, but a lot of people use the raid as a primary source to get exotic weapons. Weapons to use in crucible or iron banner or whatever. The raid is one of the best sources to get exotics and killing the boss of a raid nets you multiple rolls, so a lot of people probably just want to get all those rolls for possible loot to use elsewhere. Not everyone likes raiding, but some do it just to get the best chance of getting the gear they want.
