Question, why did the awoken allow you to have your gun while you were in your prison cell?

He didn't have his gun? That pod the Archon Priest was in, wasn't his prison cell. That's what the fallen were using to restore his soul after they busted him out. They took him from the reef all the way to Venus, im sure they either gave him a shrapnel launcher or atleast put it in the pod with him. Listen to the strike audio from your ghost.
