I am convinced that heart of praxic fire is impossible to get.
At least on my game. Been trying since release date to get this damn chest piece and I can't ever get it. Every chest engram has turned to Voidfang Vestments, xur has been selling Voidfang Vestments all the time. RNG is beginning to piss me off so much.
I can't for the life of me even get one from nightfall. I get any other exotic that I don't want.

I think Xur sold it once. Or it was an exotic engram, I don't remember. I just trade mine in for the upgrade. Good luck!

You aren't alone my friend has tried to get it several times and his luck never comes out on top. Although I've gotten it multiple times that weren't necessary since I already have it , my friend has also gotten Gjallahorn multiple times and I can't either some people get lucky with certain aspects I guess.

I actually got mine from Xur's chest engram a while back. First try. Sorry! Looks awesome but I don't use it too much anymore. I didn't upgrade it when it was available for upgrade from Xur. I prob will one day because it does look sweet.

2 RepliesI know that feeling. I didn't get my first piece of raid gear until my second run through of CE. I did get the praxic fire from a Xur engram, but mine rolled with a different set of perks, and doesn't have the "spawn with grenades" perk. I never use it.

1 ReplyYour logic is flawed. You can no more try to get praxis tha you can any other item because it is all random. Setting a goal of specific loot is insane as you have no control of the outcome

Sadly it's the only way to make Radiance not feel slow and clunky. The week I had to use Voidfang until Xur had the exotic upgrade I did not enjoy playing Sunsinger at all. I'm still curious to why they didn't buff the exotic armor yet since 90% of it (across all classes) is complete garbage in PvE and PvP.

I got one from a Chest Engram from Xur, Ima hunter tho so I dismantled it. lol.

It was my second piece of Exotic gear I ever obtained, first being Light Beyond Nemesis. Believe it or not I got it from Nightfall, sat in my vault for quite some time but I just upgraded it with Xur and have now decided I will use it after I score a nice backup helmet. It's not impossible as I have one, but i have no idea how i got it. I think it was a chest engram from Xur some time ago, but i've never seen another one. I have two warlocks and one hunter and none of them have gotten these from a dropped engram, yet I get Titan gear all the time :( I have found that if I give my lesser played lock or hunter I have a higher chance of getting gear they need. If i buy an exotic engram from Xur and use my highly played warlock to decrypt it, i almost always get Titan gear.

5 RepliesI am in full agreement! With 13.5 days (total time 327 hours) spent playing this game I have not gotten any exotic drops I wanted. Every Exotic I use has been purchased from Xur with the exception of the Vex. I really want IceBreaker and GHorn ( couldn't afford either at the time), and the Heart of praxic fire. I have gotten to the point that grinding for the RNG to award me one of them isn't worth it and I am loosing interest in destiny cause of it. I find it frustrating.
