You should be killing him before he enrages. Otherwise you might as well wipe. It should only take 3-4 swords to kill him. Which should be well before he enrages

To kill Crota? When we were trying it each 3 slashes from the sword barely took any of his health away. We had a level 31 using the sword too. How did u guys do it in so few slashes?

The swordbearer should be able to get 7 hits per sword. R1 R1 R2 R1 R1 R2 R2. If you take him down twice per sword, that's around 14 hits per sword. Which is plenty to kill him in 3-4 swords

Edited by Yaangy: 12/21/2014 10:27:12 PMIf your team has good timing and communication. You can get crota down twice per sword and 4-6 hits in per down, killing him within 3-4 swords. Oh and the sword guy needs to be 31.

And he would get 3 sometimes 4 slashes in each time and even then the damage was not enough to where it would kill him in that many slashes. And we still couldn't kill him before he got enraged cuz he would get enraged while he still had over 3/4ths health meaning if you wait too long he will rage due to the time and not just how much health he had left like atheon and the Templar.

What kind of slashes? If he's just spamming R1/RB then he's doing it wrong. And 3-4 hits is pretty low...
