What I don't understand is how is this double up when it really sounds like you're just replicating the same bounties?
Will there be a new set of bounties later on in the day before the reset after you complete the duplicated bounties?
I've tried doing this and it doesn't seem to be working, possible cause I'm competing the bounties in advanced turning in after reset. You're help our advice on what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated. Add me if you'd like btw

You have to get them done within an hour so do them in 45 min skip the public event one if you get it bc that will take to long. If your time is cutting close to the got like 45 after I would turn them in our life out on double bounties

When the bounties reset, you pick up the bounties that JUST came out that day. Go do them. Go turn them in. Log out of destiny. Log back in and go to the tower. Those bounties you turned in will be available to pick up and do a second time. I'm not sure if there's a time limit to get them done (I read it was within an hour after they refresh) and I'm not sure what can screw it up (like visiting the tower too many times etc) I tried this yesterday by picking up 10 bounties, doing them, turning them in, then I picked up 5 or 10 more and did those to (to see if they would ALL come back) I logged out when I was done, came back. No dice. Couldn't pick them up again. So I think you might be either A. Have a time limit on doing them before logging out, or B. Be limited to visiting the tower to turn in just once before logging out.

From posts and YouTube,I was under the impression that you need to log shortly before reset, knock those bounties out then relog after reset coming back onto same character to get them same bounties. I'll have to try your suggestion then. It's very confusing though

Nah that doesn't make any sense. Then you're just doing yesterday's and today's bounties.

No you have to be on, and in the tower, before the reset. Right as the reset happens, you pick up the new bounties. You do them, turn them in, log out. Log back in, go back to the tower, and those bounties you just turned in will be available to pick up again.

You can actually get three sets of bounties in one "Game Session" I am a night shift guy, so this isn't hard for me to be on then. It also works for the daily heroic. I don't get alot to play, but when I do I can reap the rewards. I get on at 2:30am. Do my bounties for the day. (Bounty Set 1) Turn them in and sit down in the tower, and wait til after 4am for reset. Grab the new bounties, go complete them, including the daily heroic (Bounty set 2) Log out of Destiny completely Log back in. Got to tower, grab the bounties, and complete (Bounty Set3) 3 sets of bounties in like 4 hrs... yay! hope that explains better.
