It was a really good movie, but there were a few things I didn't like. The scene where legolas runs up the falling bricks was way over done. And when the one chick is yelling at the eye, it looked way too much like the lady from the ring.

That's because it was the same elf. Galadriel is the elf in Lorien that went all dark lady on Frodo in the first LotR, and is also the same elf that banished Sauron from Dol Guldur. She's one of the most important beings in the Middle Earth.
