Iron Banner 3.0 pointless?
OK. So after working my f**king ass off in IB 2.0, I came to realise that the Scout rifle and Fusion rifle, which took hours of farming glimmer and days of IB, are now useless with the new DLC. Is it so hard to allow reforge to boost up the attack? The same for armor too.
Plus, the guns people worked their ass of to buy from Saladin are now dropping randomly in the following IB event?
I'm shocked. Dick move Bungie.
Atleast allow me to boost the attack on my well earned Scout rifle and Fusion rifle, as well as the armor.
Another point I must make it the light level. LIGHT LEVEL 33? I'm speechless.

I was lucky enough to get Gheleons demise while working on IB rep. This was my first IB since I just got the game 2 weeks ago. I also got the fusion riffle to drop as a reward. I have it equipped on my character. Needless to say RNG was good to me over the last few days.

I told myself it wasn't, and that IB weapons tend to be better than their stats would have you believe. I maxed my rank with my Titan in round one, my Warlock in round two, and I was planning to do the same with my Hunter this time around. I got him to rank 2.5 in a few hours, then I started playing Dragon Age's multiplayer, and the depth of its twelve classes shows up Destiny's six without trying. So I'm gonna do that instead.

Not pointless, no. As long as Saladin sells a weapon type i'm interested in it is a good thing. Reforging allows me to beat that wonky Spear into a useful weapon. I'm not terribly interested in the AR, but might keep playing for random drops to reforge. The armor? Meh. I can wait a month or two.

By having light level 36 armor and the more powerful weapons, bungie became counter productive and completely nullified Iron Banner. Unless you want the shader or emblems, there's literally no point in playing it
