It's a well known fact, that this step doesn't drop loot. Anyways, as far as I know, bungie already stated, that it is supposed to drop loot! So it is another bug in this bugfree game O_o and I am curious how long it takes to fix it. My guess: a couple of weeks.... Bungie probably fixes it with the start of crota hard raid in january.. hotfixes aren't bungies strength as they tend to cause more problems than they should solve...

I have not seen anyone at Bungie post this "Bungie already stated that its supposed to drop loot". Mind sending the link to that?

Sorry, I couldn't find it anymore. Don't know actually where I read it, was it a news, comment or tweet. Might have been a hoax though, but I am fairly sure it was official. When I find it, I'll post the link.

Because they never did. If you look in your companion app, under progress, it has only 3 drop points, genius.

Sorry man, you are so right. Bungie never produces bugs, neiter in the game nor in the app. Forgot about that.. Btw, thanks for the genius. I always knew I am above average, never thought about being a genius :-P

So if Bungie has stated they will be putting loot there then maybe I'm not so crazy! Lol I hope this is true. Not that I want loot from a part of a raid that is deemed "too easy" I just want to be rewarded for things that I put a lot of time into. The raid in general. I'm sure the Ir Yut part will get easier... Still, would love to see more loot!
