Oh nooooo!
Sucks for the fans of these games. Played one on the 360 which was pretty cool. =}

It's a PC-exclusive game. They classify it as a MOTA, or Massively Online Tactical Action.
-
Okay nice, it annoys me when servers are closed. ={ At least they are refunding the DLC is it? That's a good move.
-
More like Collector's Editions. They came in varying tiers, and by refunding all the people who bought it, Hasbro has lost thousands of dollars.
-
Seems a strange move unless Hasbro is going under. Unlikely though.
-
Honestly, I'm mad enough that I wish they'd go under. They've been screwing us fans for years, and they'd have to be far beyond retarded to have not noticed it. Transformers sales are dropping, not because of a lack of interest, but because of Hasbro's stupid marketing decisions. Since when has the ability to transform the figure in less than three steps ever been a selling point for a Transformers figure? Even the original toys back in the 80s were more complex than that. And don't get me started on their recent corner-cutting engineering.
-
Yes I had some transformer toys when they first came out and bought the Darth Vader one a few Years ago. They seem cheap compared to what I remember. Lots of plastic, they used to have more metal in them. That would piss me off too, unless Disney have the rights to the Star Wars merchandise I cannot see Hasbro going under. Not sure if Lucas sold them the rights to the merchandise too. I doubt he has though.
-
Oh lord. The spinoff lines. The worst pieces of crap I've ever seen. Yeah, Hasbro moved away from metal due to the expense of it in an attempt to keep prices down, both on their end and the consumers. That being said, the plastic figures definitely aren't cheap. The Masterpiece line has plastic figures, and they are beyond superb. On the other hand, the Masterpiece figures are made by Takara, not Hasbro, and Takara has much higher standards for quality, both in terms of plastic and paints.
-
Nice one, I know they are not cheap. It's Hasbro lol. I just remember them feeling more solid. The other ones sound more like the original Transformers. =}
-
The Masterpiece line is essentially a Generation 1 fan's wet dream. They're highly posable, heavily detailed updates of the original figures. MP-10 Optimus Prime is one of the most beautiful pieces of plastic I've ever seen. It looks like they literally ripped the character out of the cartoon.
-
Sounds like how I remember them. Thanks for the info. =}

No problem. :)
