I'll probably push the gear to right before they need radiant materials. It's very doable at 31 so no need to rush until hard mode.
At least there's a system for swapping shards and energy. Last raid people were lopsided.

Man, I'm still lopsided on those. I think I have, like, 154 Ascendant Energy, and around 30 Shards. But pushing the gear to those upgrades is not a bad idea at all; even with just the experience capped, without the radiant level invested in, it still rewards higher dismantle goods.
