I hate random joins. I'd like it if ppl would msg first before joining. I guess they at least made it so more ppl didn't make things impossible. I booted a guy this week during nightfall cuz he hopped in no word at all and the proceeded to use void weapons. I gave him 5 min to change and he didn't. :/

 • Then you really should change your settings so that no one can randomly join your team. Once someone is on your friends list, you can't blame them for thinking it's ok to jump in and help if you have an opening. That's part of the fun of having "friends". Last week, I saw someone on my list doing Nightfall and he had a slot open. I already completed the Nightfall so there was nothing in it for me to gain by helping but I was bored and thought he'd appreciate the extra help, so I joined in. He was at the boss and when I joined, I saw him and the other guy on his team hiding behind a rock, getting hammered. One even died so they were obviously struggling. I rushed over and start unloading on the boss and suddenly I'm kicked from the team... Pretty -blam!-ing rude way to treat someone on your friends list trying to help you out. Maybe he assumed I was trying to come in at the last minute for an easy reward but even so, who would that be hurting? In any case, he got unfriended real quick. I hate douchebags.

 • I don't know how to even do that. I would totally change it to private if I could. I don't mind helping ppl or being helped. But not when I don't need it. I would just like a msg before random joins. I would never just randomly join someone's game myself, it feels too rude. I might msg for help tho :/

 • I'm not in game to double check but I believe the team settings is in the "roster" category. There is an icon there shaped like people. If you click on it, you'll find you can change the settings to something along the lines of anyone can join/only friends can join/invite only. If you have your team open, you give the impression that you're cool with someone on your list hopping in at anytime to fight beside you. But, I think friends only is the default and I think it resets to it every time you log back on, so you need to change it every time.

 • There isn't that option. I'm on xbone and the only thing I see about my name on roster is snap party app

 • Found this in another forum. Apparently, the path is different for Xbone: "For xbox one hit the home button, go to friends, go to my profile, you will see destiny on the right and click it third option says requires invites, click that and it will change to set to joinable."

 • Has to be in there somewhere. I doubt they only added the option for PS4.

 • He got mad and unfriended me even. But really how hard is it to pull out your ghost when you get in to see the modifiers?
