Trading in destiny is Stupid when everyone has the same probability of receiving an item from completing a raid, crucible, patrol, kill, strike, etc. Just because someone in your fireteam got an item doesn't mean RNG didn't give you the same probability because you were a hunter, stupid, Jesus, David the goliath killer, a snail, a badass titan, or a wallflower.

Not really. I mainly just play my Titan, I've managed to acquire nearly a full set of legendary armor with some exotics for the Hunter and Warlock class. With as bad as the RNG system is in this game trading really wouldn't hurt it at all and I have several clan mates who are Hunters and Warlocks who would love to trade me something good for the stuff I have in my vault, not to mention the exotic/legendary Titan gear they can't use. I finally just rolled a Warlock and Hunter figuring I can run through the boring ass campaign to get to 20 and then they'll both be level 26 almost as soon as I'm done with all the gear I have just sitting around for them.

Exactly how? Data is all server side so no duping. Also there is no reliable means to farm exotics with the RNG system and as long as glimmer is of the table (trade item for item only) RMT for glimmer is fixed as well.
