I'll admit that aim assist is occasionally annoying when you're trying to snipe some colossus and legionaries keep jumping in the way and shifting your aim around but overall it helps.

Yes it is helpful to many, but it hurts me too much to even try to PVP, especially in organized skirmish games where there are two people strafing back and forth across the lane in front of the sniper. Good luck with that one Chuck.
