I -blam!-ing did it oh my god don't, I scrapped a -blam!-ing exotic that I thought wasn't so great because I already had a better exotic helmet with better stats and perks, especially since it was a "new" one. Got the exptic shard. Tried to upgrade it twice... And nothing. At all. Why the -blam!- would that even be an option to do if it does nothing. I lost 7000 glimmer and an exotic for nothing.
