In my experience it seems each class has two helmets that appear with relative frequency, and a third that either never appears or is just extremely rare.
With the Hunter, it's the Knucklehead Radar.
With the Warlock, it's the Skull of Dire Ahamkara.
With the Titan it's the Insurmountable Skullfort.
Luckily, I got Ruin Wings from Xur today, and risked my motes on an Engram which turned into the Skullfort ;) been wanting that thing for an age!
