Does anyone want old Raid weapons upgraded, or is it just me and my mates?
Is it just me and my mates, or is anyone else not happy that raid weapons from Vault of Glass are still at attack 300? I absolutely love my raid weapons, the VoC in particular, and now they are weaker than the new weapons which is such a total disappointment. I think ALL raid weapons should be treated like exotics, in the sense that we should be able to upgrade them like we do with exos, or be able to pay the gunsmith to upgrade them for us. All the weapons from the factions are the same (which is great), so I can re-buy my Vanquisher VIII, but nothing is done for my Raid weapons. REALLY hope Bungie agree and release a patch so we can continue to enjoy some of the best weapons this game has on offer.

I definitely want my Atheons Epilogue upgraded. Low impact but absolutely shreds those mobs of Thrall coming full speed at you.

You should be able to use radiant energy or another material from Eris to upgrade old legendry's.

yeah found verdict is a solid pvp weapon. ill still use it but its a shame itll get benched come ib.

I do even if I have to relevel it considering that most vog raid wepons were better than mist exotics that time.

1 ReplyI'd love either the ability to upgrade and reset like exotics or if the vault items dropped now after Dec 9th would have the new stats, even if only the ones dropped from hard mode. I'd gladly run the VoG every week again to get a new set of weapons. The primaries with elemental damage are still good for nightfall though. A 300 with burn is better than a 331 without.

I see no problem with having to replace weaker weapons with stronger weapons. I mean that's pretty much what you do when you're leveling up, and that's the whole point of character progression.

3 RepliesI think all weapons and armour should be able to be upgraded, the pool of items is so limited every guardian looks pretty much the same! Are we all trying to become the same Legend? Or can we decide for ourselves

3 RepliesNope. They are not. VoC and Fatebringer are still powerful, despite being 300 attack weapons. Fatebringer is still awesome against waves of level 31 thralls VoC strips the solar shields off level 32 wizards with ease.

1 ReplyPrimaries with elemental damage will always be useful and new ones wont be around for a month or so. As for everything else...they still have 300 damage and good perks. Until I find something better im using them. Its not like they shoot nerf bullets now.

1 Replyi feel like light level has more impact on weapon damage than damage boosts from guns anyway so i wouldnt say they are worthless my chance hand cannon still one shots most in the head and its pre update!

8 RepliesThe only thing you'd need a higher attack level for are the new raid or IB against higher level targets. Your maxed out 300 weapons are still going to be effective in Nightfalls (especially if yours matches the burn skull) and all other PvE activity, and basically anything lvl 30 or below. Attack power =/= damage.

2 RepliesThey are not useless you can still run the VoG and get exotics off of it I don't know why people are calling it useless... I'm going to be running 6 raids a week now as opposed to 3 that's one a day and as well as the nightfall and weekly. You have so much content now. I'm going to laugh at the people who dismantle all the old stuff.
