If you think Obama is the problem with the politics in this country and that everything is going to magically get better when he's out of office, you're not paying attention. Obama may not be a great president, but he's certainly better than the alternatives would have been. Lesser of the evils, eh? Besides, the now completely Republican Congress is far more to blame how -blam!-ed up we are than the President is.

Stop analyzing the sheeples whining with your relentless logic, their pathetic little minds can't comprehend it.
While I'm not sure if the fact that congress being republican is the issue, (honestly) I do know Congress in general is one of the major problems with our government. Maybe of they did their job instead of pandering to the companies that line their pockets we'd be in a better place. But people are content to whining about the president with little power (and then bitch when he uses it to make up for Congress's incompetence) instead of trying to make a change in Congress where the power actually lies.
Congress isn't even republican yet you dipshit. The new officials come in January I'm pretty sure. And you blame republicans when midterms were 3 weeks ago lol.

Edited by Princess Anomaly: 12/11/2014 5:34:48 PMYou're right. We aren't a democracy. In a true democracy everything would be determined by popular vote. What we're supposed to have is a congress of individuals that represent the people, which is a republic. The United States was founded as a republic, not a democracy. But we aren't even a republic anymore. The individuals in Congress don't represent the people; they represent the corporations that pay them. As long as corporations are treated as people and allowed to lobby Congress, even our system of a republic is ruined. We are a nation ruled by the wealthy class. We are an oligarchy. Congressmen and women are mere puppets, the big corporations and bankers have all the real power here.

Dude. Congress isn't the problem. Reid sat on their work for months. Stop trying to pass blame to republicans. It's really pathetic already. How you can blame Bush when he's president, but then you blame congress with Obama? You're such a numb nut it's like a bad joke already... We get it, you're falling for the political finger pointing that Obama wants you to, all the while we have a big problem that keeps overflowing. The problem is the size of our fedgov. We should leave popular decisions to be made by state governments. We should shrink that federal government as much as possible. Get off the political hamster wheel and see the big picture: Here's a little example of things you can think of when you stop trying to assign blame... When our government says it spends X dollars in our budget on welfare programs... how much of that X dollars actually gets into the hands of the poor and needy? Why do the needy have to stand in five different lines for their food stamps, unemployment, etc... There's too many people with their hands in the pot. Both republicans and democrats. We could streamline the process, send one lump sum, let them choose how to manage their own money. Get them out of lines and bureaucracy and back into the work force. Shrink all those different offices and agencies and streamline the process so more of that X dollars ends up in the hands that need it. See? Much better than sitting there pointing fingers across the aisle. Grow up man

Edited by Princess Anomaly: 12/11/2014 9:16:02 PMI'm not "pointing fingers across the aisle." I'm not a Democrat. I hate them all. The Republicans just happen to be worse at this moment in time. And as I said before, they're all puppets. It's the corporations and the banking families that really run the country. Money rules the world. You wanna see real change? Get rid of money. Also I'm not a "dude" or "man," man.
-
We all know your democrat. Feminists are always democrats
-
Yeah you are. For better or for worse. What you are to me is not up to you. Thanks for your opinion on thE matter though. Rest assured it will be ignored, dude. You are still pointing fingers man. Neither side is good for this country. And if you wanna split hairs, the democrats are actively growing our central fedgov where the republicans are also, but not nearly as fast. So the greater of two evils are the democrats. But neither side is conducive to a sustainable future. At all

"I'm not a 'dude' or 'man'" isn't an opinion; I'm a -blam!-ing girl. My gender doesn't change because you refuse to acknowledge it.
-
No dude, it actually does. Perception is a magical thing. I'm not trying to fight you here... I'm just pointing out that you're lucky I'm not calling you a potato. Though, we are treading on thin ice.
-
lol Whatever you say
-
Yeah. That was MY point... It's also whatever you say.. But only in your own head, spud..
-
Oh, you're still talking? /yawn

Was that your attempt at being funny? :/ mfw
