I've quit alcohol. Cannabis helps break addictions and eases withdrawals. Also, cannabis is not physically addictive so it's very easy to stop. Even if you don't, it's good for you so it doesn't matter.

I may have never stopped drinking had it not been for cannabis, and I'd probably be dead years ago.

  • Figured thats why you were so judgemental. Alcoholism, domestic violence, divorce, mental and physical abuse, all higher in homes of " police officers" than most other professions. But weed is bad, we all believe that. You might want to look up some US government filed patents on the medicinal use of weed. Just a thought

  • It's not that I'm judgemental. I see it on a wider aspect than on an individual. It does badly effect people. But no one individual seems to realise. It frustrates me to see people go down a slippery slope damaging there unique personalities ignorant of what may/will happen if they continue heavily

Except cannabis doesn't negatively effect others, it's harmless and beneficial to the body.

Too* No, it's not physically addictive like alcohol. It can be psychologically addictive like food or sex can be, but that is the fault of the user's mentality, not cannabis. Cannabis also has one of the lowest dependency rates at only 9% Educate yourself before making more asinine comments.

You obviously do not know more than I. I used to work for a medicinal cannabis dispensary. Cannabis does NOT give withdrawals when you stop using it. There's a difference between use and abuse. Anything can be abused, even food. That's where responsibility comes in, and as I mentioned already, cannabis has one of the lowest codependency rates.

You're confused with alcohol and people that are irresponsible and lazy regardless. Plenty of cannabis users are productive.

  • See I would but the problem is I use to smoke a lot, and that was when I started packing lips, so whenever I do smoke now I crave. Maybe it's the strand, because I can definitely see how it could help with addiction. Would you say a sativa or an indica?

Hmm, I'd go with an Indica. Sativa tends to make you more energetic and want to do things. Though, it sounds like you may have been psychologically addicted, in which case you should avoid all substances and eat healthy.
