I used to smoke about a half a pack a day, from there I switched I E-cigs and smoked those for about 2 months starting with the high strength nicotine then going to the medium then the low. After that I went to the ones with no nicotine for a few days and then was able to stop with no bad side effects. Every now and then I get a craving to smoke, like when I'm at a bar or before I go into the movies but its really not that bad. I don't have that much knowledge about dip but maybe there is a way to ween yourself off of it like I did with smoking. Good luck.

Thanks man, do you have any specific brands you could recommend? And dip is pretty similar, the addiction is within the nicotine (obviously) and the sensation of having something to do with your mouth. With cigarettes, it's smoking, with dip, it's just having something in between your teeth and cheek.

If you're going to try an ecig let me know what city you live in and I'll look up some shops in your area and give you some pointers. Although those blu are pretty good they can be a bit pricy
