thorn is very good now but hawkmoon is still better, two shot hand sniper.

Two 'lucky' shots you mean :), hawk moon is awesome, thorn is more versatile in PvP imo.
-
Not really generally it's nearly always two shots three max plus the bigger clip, just think it's better imo
Two 'lucky' shots you mean :), hawk moon is awesome, thorn is more versatile in PvP imo.
There's no luck involved.

Seriously? The perk is actually called 'luck in the chamber'

Each shot that doesn't trigger lotc or aces increases the probability the next shot will trigger it. With 13 shots in the chamber and knowing with at least one trigger your kill can be reduced to a 2 shot, that's a minimum 3 kills in one clip before reload provided you hit. Saying it's luck based implies there's no means of recognizing how it works.

Edited by Surface2AirMissile: 12/9/2014 6:38:12 PMI'm sorry you misunderstood, there is difference in saying thorn is two head shot kill and hawk moon is a two shot kill. Thorn is guaranteed, hawkmoon isn't. Call it luck or probability or work of the devil. It's not a two head shot cannon. It can be, but it's not all the time. And if it is, you are lucky. And if you are REALLY lucky, it's a one head shot. So.... And just because you understand how lottery works doesn't mean you won't be lucky on winning.

Hawkmoon however doesn't have nearly as low a percentage to occur and even increases in probability to occur, so the comparison isn't warranted. Both thorn and hawkmoon are guaranteed two shots, however one is consistently so (that being thorn). Regardless, with a starting probability of triggering aces at 23% which only continues to climb each time it isn triggered upon fire, that statistically isn't lucky. You have a very high chance of it triggering on just the first 3 shots alone.
