I don't mind it too much. Yea I had to run raids and get have a little luck on my side to get my gear. However, something happened and I had a lot of fun and made friends for this game along the way!
The vendor gear allows players to not have to farm vog for weeks before being able to even attempt the new one

I wonder how much farming/grinding the new gear will take considering apparently you need commendations which you only get from leveling up the faction rank.

Probably will be a little bit of a grind. But will be something you can acquire during solo play vs finding a raid group. I don't know that for a fact as a disclaimer. Just my thoughts of what the probable outcome will be.
