I'll say just keep it at light 30 so when I'm in light 32 I can give Atheon a can of whoop ass myself .. And also to do a quick flawless raider..

You do realize that your level is capped to the level of the activity you're doing, right? That's why a level 2 Dreg can still damage you. So it doesn't matter if you're light level 50, VoG on 30 would still be just as hard- with an an exception of the new Crotas weapons, which may offer better damage output.
