This needs a fix or at least to be noticed and adressed by someone.

Unfortunately I think it has been noted as a known bug. I struggle to understand why it's taking so long to fix though, unless there are players with this type of gear equipped that aren't experiencing this, but it occurs 100% of the time for me.. Never get to keep my ammo :(
