it does suck seeing that it took ages to upgrade the exotic in the first place. But, at least they will be more powerful out of the box then they are now fully upgraded. Not too excited about the upgrade price though- exotic shard (7 strange coins or discarded exotic), the old weapon/armor piece itself, and 7000 glimmer.

As an experienced player I'm sure you've figured out some good ways to earn glimmer fast? If you need 7 coins just do a Nightfall!
