I would love it. World War II was the single most epic war the world has ever seen. And with World War I being too simple as far as fighting tactics, a solid WWII game would be great! CoD WaW had the right idea, just needed tweaking.

In terms of epic ness, I see wwI being more epic than II. In the First World War, no one was using bitch tactics like in the second, like flamethrowers and missiles. WWI was a war that will never be seen again. It gives me shivers imagining being a German soldier, holding a trench with a mounted mg, then I look to the sky, only to see these flying machines newly conceived. At the spearhead of the planes, was a beast drenched in blood, painted red completely. Baron Von Richtofen' plane itself! You hear men all around cheering, as they seem to also be looking to the sky, inspired by the Red Baron himself, in his bi-plane letting the warcry of the machine gun mounted in front of his seat scream loud. That was the last war that was man on man, Mano y mano! So yeah wwI game please -_-

  • WWI wouldn't make a good game. The tactics aren't really the fast paced adventure that a fps needs to succeed. Trenches and sprinting across no mans land past machine guns and poison gas. Just as the Civil war wouldn't make a good fps, WWI I feel just wouldn't translate well into games. As far as which was more epic? That's subjective. Up to whatever you feel.
