So do to realize how ridiculous and stereotyping this whole rant is? And how idiotic it makes you look?
You're telling me that the fact that I have a 3.7 gpa in a difficult science major as a premed (which is arguably one of the most cutthroat, competitive college pathways) is because I am a straight white male... Seems legit.
What you don't know is that I come from a lower middle class family who because I was not a minority or a disadvantages youth I had to pay every bit of my tuition out of pocket aside from a $2000 scholarship. Putting my family in increasing debt so I can have a better life. Add that debt into house mortgages, loans, medical bills, caring for aging grandparents, there are times we almost cannot make ends meet. That is all because I am a straight white male.
I've never had anything handed to me in my adult life. You want that 3.7 gpa? Work for it. You want to be a dr? Work for it. You want to be successful? Work for it.
I don't surpass others because I'm a "straight white male" I surpass others, including you because I work harder, I try harder and it reflects on me. It's not because I'm a "straight white male".
I didn't get a 100 test average in a college chemistry course (where the fail rate was 60-65%) because I'm a "straight white male", I got that because I'm up till 3 am studying for 2 or so weeks before a test.
I didn't help co found a volunteering student organization and help run it from a Vice President position because I am a "straight white male" I did that because I enjoy helping those who do not have the means to help themselves.
I'm successful because of what i do with my life, not my race, not my sexuality, not my gender or sex.
If you was so ignorant to play the "white privilege" card, you might be able to see that. while some "straight white males" have it easy, trust funds, rich parents, never a want in the world, there are just as many if not more of people like me that have to deal with no help from society while also dealing with the stigma that comes with being a "straight white male".
And it's people like you that put this stigma on me and generalize me into a category. nothing was given to me. I earned every bit of my success.
