Another suggestion, this time for warlock arc abilities. Can we get some sort of dodge/Icarus dash in our arc capabilities, kind of similar to the new melee aspext but just for side movement. For the students of the light, it would make sense for warlocks to have figured out how to capture the “power of arc electricity” and shoot out to the left or right like electricity jumping from one diode to another. Also, since arc is all about movement, and warlock supers are not that damage-heavy like the other classes, it’s more of a sub-ability class (Grenades, Melee). So being able to get in and out of somewhere quicker would be useful. In PvP, this would also serve as skillful counter to the new hunter arc staff which is literally invincible from a frontal attack within 40° on either side of the hunter. But it would still require skill for the warlock to maneuver themselves into the right position to have a fighting chance.

My suggestion would be that you re-invigorate the endgame lost sector environment to be more rewarding to players. There’s been so many times lately running master (last season) and legendary (this season) lost sectors that I complete a Platinum run in under 5 minutes and get nothing save for some glimmer, and not that much at that. So I figure, “okay, next time will be more rewarding”, and run it again, only to get some planetary materials and more meager amounts of glimmer. It’s frustrating, and I see these sentiments echoed on Reddit by many players. Many are choosing not do them at all, and just to wait for Grandmasters, as the lost sectors are a lot of work for nothing in return. One idea I had to reinvigorate them would be to show time-based checkpoints for loot (assuming all champions are defeated). For example, loading into a sector a player would see that to receive an exotic you have to complete the run in under 5 minutes in a timer bar. If the player runs past the 05:00 minute timer, the icon would change from an exotic icon to a high-stat legendary item. If the player fails to complete the lost sector by the 06:30min mark, they would then receive a regular legendary item, with the rare chance to receive a random RNG exotic (drop levels would be a little less than they are now). If the timer went past, say, 09:00 minutes then the player would be guaranteed only planetary materials and glimmer, with the extremely rare chance for something else to drop. These times are just hypotheticals, and each lost sectors would need to be evaluated for quickness to create the appropriate checkpoint times. Because of this, this idea is more work for the dev team to implement. This way, players would have something tangible to work and buildcraft towards, versus just relying on algorithms to decide whether or not to give them decent drops. Another idea I had was give a mod to players that is very detrimental to buildcrafting, but increases the drop chance. This mod would take up, let’s say, 8 mod slots, severely impacting their abilities to use Subclass Wells/Fonts and Charged with Light Mods. The % chance of an exotic dropping would be based on how many of these mods players equipped, stacking each time on an exponential plot up to 4x (I’m leaving it at 4 to leave gauntlet armor (for champion mods) alone). Running one mod would increase chances by 4%; running two: 10%; running three: 22%; running four: 55%. Players that choose to give up their build benefits for the pursuit of lost sector grinding would be basically guaranteed one out of every 2.5 lost sectors would drop something that might be useful. This second idea could be expanded to have mods specifically to increase exotic drops (all exotic armor would be included in one mod, making it type (head, gauntlets, chest, legs) specific would be cumbersome) and then another to increase high-stat legendary armor .

2 RepliesI suggest that you make guaranteed rotating pinnacles (helmet, gauntlet, chest, boots, class items) for Vanguard Ops, Gambit, and Crucible. This helps the ones who stuck at 1 power level below seasonal cap, as well as encouraging even veteran players to periodically check out these activities. So, I've been doing pinnacles since this season, and chest piece and warlock bond are all I need for hitting 1580 power level. After doing like 8 pinnacles, all I got was special, power weapon, or helmet. And now I got to wait until next week's reset and hopefully I get them in two pinnacle drops. Not to mention I need a pair of boots for my Titan to be 1580 - same situation I have to wait until next week.

I suggest that you change up the way seasons work. 1. Change the length of a single season. Having 4 seasons of around 3 months feels too long especially if there are only 7ish new story driven missions in a single season. I personally think having 6 seasons of around 2 months would be better for the dedicated players who play more than the casual players yet provide enough time for casual players to complete the provided content. 2. If a change like I mentioned above would be implemented lessen the Exp requirement for a season rank up so that it balances out with the lesser window of time in a season. While also providing the feeling of consistently getting stuff from the season pass as a dedicated player and therefore keeping us engaged and content with our progress. 3. Change the way the seasonal story is told. From my perspective having a couple of story driven missions to get a general gist of what's going on and have the rest of the story whether its some back story or some explanation/information be in the lore books, I'd would prefer that I learn the cool lore by actively experiencing it and have the lore books to add more context from a perspective that my guardian would not have or add more flavor to the overarching story across multiple seasons building up to the new expansion. Also the way seasons lead in to each other feels wierd, going from stoping the lucent hive using the light to complete a ritual, to leviathan/Calus is back and try to prevent whatever he's planning, to Eramis trying to collect relics and so we become pirates to try and stop her? It feels like there's no connective thread that leads from one to the other making it feel like we are just bouncing all over the place. Obviously I'm just a player and have no idea about game development but I personally feel that those kind of changes would benefit the community as a whole keeping the dedicated players busy while also providing the casual players with enough context and time to enjoy the game.

I want to suggest a visual cooldown timer for blink like Icarus dash has in the corner of the screen it would really help blink users. Thank you for the amazing game

Can we get a rework of the Exotic "No Backup Plans"? With "Monty Carlo" and other Exotics, "No Backup Plans" is just about irrelevant and I would hate to see such a cool looking and well detailed exotic go unloved.

Can we have an increase on postmaster capacity please? You upped the vault 100 items. Why cant we farm up to an equivalent amount and then sort our inventory. Ive probably lost thousands of items while farming quests on a planet and missing a notification in a firefight. Speaking of the vault. Can we get a highest/ lowest light method of sorting and a tab for armor/weapons. Would make upgrading weapons and armor that are not max light easier for newer players. And allow all of us to refine our vaults a little bit instead of just having a big mess of pages to scroll through. Would be wonderful if this could be implemented soon. I know the player base can get overwhelming with PVP balance requests and can be hostile at times in their competitiveness. And i know you have a huge undertaking with new content. But if someone can take some time for this soon it would be amazing. I also want to thank the entire bungie team for all your hard work making the game great this far. We appreciate it. Look forward to all the new content drops that are on their way.

We didn’t earn exotic ships just for them to look cool, instead implement some type of combat with them at random whenever we travel to a new planet, for example when I exit hyperspace as I arrive at the moon a ship could appear as an enemy and we would be able to enter some type of combat mode that would allow to use blasters on our ship.

Hey bungie, Could you add a item lock in the postmaster because things like ascendant shards wouldn't be lost there

Hello Bungie! Thank you for a great game, I have spent too many happy hours playing the game 😃. I have 2 suggestions: 1: Add crosshair to sniper rifles! That would make these fantastic weapons a viable option even in close combat. This way the sniper rifles would become more efficient & funny to play with! 2: Mods in-game shop is needed! It's very frustrating that it isn't possible to buy any mod in-game at any time! Right now I need the mod "the bomber" to my warlock, and a bunch of others as well. But it can take months before I have it! The threshold for new and returning players would be considerably lower as well!

Bungie, we have all been waiting for so many years to change our personal character appearance. In almost every game, most of us have had second thoughts on changing our characters looks. We would feel so much happier if there was a personal character change without having to sacrafice years of progress. Even if its just one change per character, the community would still be happier

Edited by pr0-ss-pect: 3/31/2022 11:31:09 AMHey Bungie, An idea to help solve the problems with Gambit. Can you link an invaders health, length of time invading or ability to use heavy weapons to how many motes they take with them to invade? This would mean invaders have to also risk something while invading. My general idea is that without any motes an invader gets their standard health as the players they are invading on when they dont have any motes. If they invade with 5 motes they get the extra shield as they currently do now. If they invade with 10 motes, on top of the shield they get a bit of extra time to run around invading. If they invade with 15 motes, as well as the benefits above, they unlock the use of their heavy weapon while invading. If the invader dies while invading all motes are given up to the other team to collect. I think this would level the field and make motes dual use meaning that you have to use them to build your own bank or use them to help slow the other team building their bank. I also believe this would also solve the unbalance pve vs pvp heavy ammo economy. Hopefully you find something useful in this suggestion. Thanks for the great game. pr0-ss-pect

God I hope you guys see this over there. LEGENDARY STRIKE PLAYLIST with NO CHAMPIONS Basically, make a legendary vanguard strike playlist that's about as difficult as the Witch Queen Legendary campaign was WITH SCORING that DOESNT have champions in it. Doing weekly strikes for the engram just feels so damn empty and boring, and having scoring and difficulty with it that's NOT forcing me to use a handful of weapon types just sounds like a great way to casually pass the time, level up some guns, do some weapon and vanguard bounties and masterwork some exotics. Nightfall is its own challenge and I like how that works, it's kinda like how Monster Hunter has arena quests that you have to use a specific loadout for only with more freedom. Those are fine. But regular playlist strikes being more on the fun side with the higher difficulty and SCORING would be great. tl;dr add Legendary Strike playlist that has scoring, DOES NOT HAVE CHAMPIONS, and has difficulty mods active like the Witch Queen Legendary campaign did.

Absolutely love destiny, just wish there will be a special Tess store tab where you can buy past season pass ornaments for people who couldn't get em. IDC how they're priced I will buy them and will be so happy if you do that. Can't wait for witch queen, all I know is that it's gonna be fun. Great game.
